The resplendent event “Taste of Poland Day” captivated attendees on the 18th of July 2023, as it brought together people to revel in the richness of Polish culture and cuisine. Organised by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Poland in collaboration with Daniel Kawczynski MP and Nia Griffith MP, the event served as a beacon of cultural exchange and an opportunity to foster understanding of the Polish culture.
The festivities commenced with an air of excitement and anticipation. The venue, Jubilee Room in the House of Commons, emanated a welcoming ambiance, setting the stage for a memorable day of cultural exploration. The event commenced with thought-provoking speeches from Daniel Kawczynski MP and Nia Griffith MP, who eloquently emphasised the significance of cultural appreciation and cooperation between the United Kingdom and Poland. Their words underscored the strong bilateral ties and the value of cherishing each other’s heritage, uniting different political parties and ideologies. A captivating highlight of the “Taste of Poland Day” was the enchanting performance by the talented students of the Polish Music School in London.
